Michel Nischan, chef, cookbook author and avid proponent of healthy, sustainable and culturally significant food and social causes, has teamed up with like-minded actor and philanthropist Paul Newman to open Dressing Room
A Homegrown Restaurant, located on the grounds of the Westport Country Playhouse. The restaurant is designed to reflect the feel of living in the Connecticut countryside and features a fieldstone fireplace, exposed reclaimed barn board walls, and heavy-timber wood columns and beams - all of which create a warm, updated country setting.
Michel talks with great passion about the Heritage Food movement - we caught up with him on location in Westport.
Molly oversees all winemaking and production operations of the winery as well as helping with grower relations and recommendations in the vineyards. Top quality winemaking and grape growing, with passion, is her goal every step of the way.

Stefano Inama
One of Soave's Great Winemakers
Producing classic wines from the Veneto is his passion. In the 1950s Giuseppe Inama, the estate's founder, began purchasing small plots of vineyards in the heart of the Soave Classico region using nothing more than his savings - at that time, few understood the area's potential. But Giuseppe was a believer. His idea was to assemble only top quality vineyards of old-vine Garganega and fashion from them a wine capable of restoring Soave's reputation.

Lionello Speaks About His Vin Santo
You won't believe what it takes to make this wine.
The Philosopher Entrepreneur.
Thirty years ago, a successful industrialist decided to devote himself to his great passion: wine-making. And so began a fascinating and complex story that culminated in the acquisition and valorization of three very important estates in Tuscany. The purchase and restoration of an historic monastery (dating from 1000) at Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the heart of the Siena Chianti Classico area, saw the creation of a prestigious agricultural and residential complex, the present-day Castello di Monastero.
Lionello stopped in on a typical Wednesday - we never know who might come through that front door. Listen to his comments on this episode.

The house of Pascal Jolivet is one of the youngest and most dynamic in the Loire Valley. Founded in 1987, this specialist in the wines of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé has very quickly gained a leading position with the Michelin-starred restaurants of France.
Pascal owns an estate of more than 70 acres evenly divided between the two appellations. He believes strongly in letting nature make the wines as much as possible, and seeks to tame the more aggressive qualities of the Sauvignon Blanc variety.

Fredrick Wildman Grand Tour - 2006
"Our philosophy at Pol Roger can be summed up in one word, pleasure."
The pleasure of making the champagne, of offering it and of sharing it.
Here everything is conducted in an atmosphere of serenity as is fitting for a House, known for the quality of its wines.
The phrase "our philosophy" is heard repeatedly at Pol Roger.
It means, no ostentation, no sudden changes, no over-expansion, no diversification, no disguises or false brands, no compromises, no capital from outside the family.
It embraces discipline, serenity, and a down-to-earth vision of what Champagne should be; floral, capable of long aging, a constant style altered only after careful consideration.

The Viñedo Chadwick wine represents a long cherished desire of the Chadwick family to honour the memory of the late Don Alfonso Chadwick Errázuriz, with an ultra-premium red wine showcasing the ancestry, tradition and expertise of the Chadwick-Errázuriz family in producing fine wines reflecting
the family's passion for excellence.
The aim is to make an elegant wine reflecting the Maipo Valley at its highest level with soft tannins, and berry fruit characteristics on the nose and palate with an added dimension of power and intensity in the finish. To achieve this, ripe tannins and concentrated fruit are the key and lead our picking decisions.
